The wait is over: Todd Terry has finally dropped his new Ibiza 2017 compilation, and it’s just as good as we all expected.
Working with Mark Brown and Cr2 Allstars, the album drops on Friday, and it sounds exactly as summer should: sun, sea, sand, and throbbing beats!
Todd Terry has been nothing short of prolific over the last few weeks. Ahead of his set at 51st State Festival next Saturday, he’s released new tracks with DJ SKT (‘Preach’ feat. Jess Kondoors) and with Doug Lazy (‘We Love That Acid’), where he teams up with Lazy for six minutes of dark, snarling beats. And now Todd's latest Cr2 compilation is dropping just in time for the weekend!
Cr2 Record’s annual Ibiza compilation is the official sound of the summer: jam-packed with quality House and Techno that has taken the island by storm over recent months. As well as being mixed by Todd Terry, Mark Brown and Cr2 Allstars, the compilation contains new and exclusive tracks from Todd Terry, Flume, Camelphat, Paul Woolford, Audion, Kerri Chandler, Max Chapman, Kölsch, Low Steppa and many, many more.
For those of you unfamiliar with Mark Brown’s Cr2 Records (where have you been?), the London-based electronic label has been setting the standard for club music in Ibiza and beyond for the last thirteen years. Aside from Todd Terry, some of electronic music’s brightest lights have featured on Cr2 releases, from Carl Cox to DJ Sneak, while collaborations with Space, Amnesia, Pacha, Blue Marlin and Privilege, among others, have kept them firmly on the map.
