Groove Odyssey returns to the Ministry of Sound on Saturday the 10th of June, with our GO Ibiza reunion party. Kicking off the Summer season with another awesome lineup We're proud to present one of the greats Joey Negro, alongside the head of Nulu records Anane Vega, and a live performance from U.K. Super talent Hanlei, with full support from your Groove Odyssey residents Bobby & Steve, plus Steve Harrington in the main room (please see Steve's writeup below). Hosting room 103, we welcome successful London festival & club promoters Found, featuring djs Boo Williams, Casino Times, Otto & Bear and Hot like Detroit- The Loft is hosted by Housefm featuring Sean McCabe, Sol Brown plus many more, with the Baby Box giving you Soul & RnB Featuring Paul Bozak Morrisey, Lloyd Life and Sammy Confunktion. Hey there, Soulful People! It's Steve Harrington here, just letting you know about a very special event taking place on Saturday 10th June at the world famous Ministry Of Sound - the GROOVE ODYSSEY IBIZA REUNION. Check out the fantastic line up for the night at www.grooveodyssey.com
The reason that this party will be extra special is not just because of the wonderful music brought to you by some of the finest selectors, the great atmosphere generated by the friendly crowd, or indeed that we will be reconnecting with our GO Ibiza family after our fantastic weekend in May... It's because it will be a fundraiser for a very special charity that I have personally benefited from over the past few months. In September 2016 I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma - neck cancer - which I am happy to say that I am now in recovery from. After being told the diagnosis by my consultant, the first person that my wife and I spoke to was a Macmillan nurse who calmly and clearly took us through the process of what to expect, and she was very reassuring to us at that time as we were both in a state of shock. Throughout my treatment I dealt with two Macmillan nurses and I knew that I could contact them at any time (and still can), with any questions at all no matter how trivial it might seem. Macmillan nurses are incredible people, therefore I have nominated the MACMILLAN Cancer Support organisation to receive a percentage of the profits from this event to help fellow sufferers in the future.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us might ever have to face and Macmillan Cancer Support are there so that you don’t have to go through it alone, supporting you every step of the way. From practical to financial help, from emotional to relationship issues, Macmillan are the UK’s definitive one-stop organisation for advice, education, community, care and above all understanding.

Donations make up 96% of their income, and they simply couldn't do what they do without support from ordinary people. Their annual reports offer a transparent overview of how they raise and spend their money, and we hope to raise a tidy sum for them on June 10th with your support and generosity.

So Groove Odyssey family - Please come out on June 10th and support this event where we can celebrate, dance, dig deep and donate!
